TUTORIAL & PRACTICAL

Week 1 - 3 Favorite graphic design works from Pinterest

In this work, The Butterfly Effect is visually represented by one wing of a butterfly being stretched until the end of the paper and this marble pattern is beautiful in cold color. In addition to this, the letters “EFFECT” are split into half and one-third respectively, which highlight the meaning of The Butterfly Effect. It is easy to understand the effect and I like this color palette.

At first glance, it has a very pop and cute atmosphere but when you look at the text on the box and what’s inside the small pocket, it is kind of scary. But the contrast is quite cool and the thing that opinions may differ depending on the viewers is what I like about the design.

Keyboard is very familiar to us but the idea is unique because we tend to see things around us in daily life as just a tool and it is hard to come up with great design ideas from that. The hand that lives inside of the control key is small and a different color from the real hand, which leads me to guess whose hand this is.

TUTORIAL

week 1 - No tutorial
There was no tutorial. Plus, I couldn’t attend week 1 classes because of a delayed student VISA.

Reflective writing
I missed the first physical class, but the activity for the introduction to this subject was fun for me. I thought using Pinterest would be helpful when I do my work.
