- Intro to After Effects
After Effects: 2.5D animation software used for animation, visual effects, and motion picture compositing. This allows you to combine layers of video and images into the sasme scene.
Motion graphics animation works by manipulating vector and rasterized art to create and tell a story.
Pre-compositon in Photoshop to arrange and rename layers for the time when you animate in After Effects. After Effects does not embed its media, it links to it.

PRACTICAL
- After Effects exercise
This week, I learned how to animate composition using After Effects. At first, I download the composition Photoshop file given by the teacher and import it into After Effects.
Following the demonstration, I adjusted the time duration to 15 seconds and animated the upper circle with rotation at 45 degrees. The tip is that the beginning and the end should be the default values.

Next is the bigger circle, I used scale and made it smaller at 90% to ctrate change. The process is almost the same as the above explanation.

The last one, fish, is animated using position and changing the numerous values to move up. I exported and added to Render Queue and posted it to Youtube.

I found that After Effects is easier to do than other Adobe apps. Also, animating collage was kind of fun for me, so I'm looking forward to the final assignment.
