TUTORIAL
PRACTICAL (Project 2B: Poster Design)
- Research
At first, I searched around daily quotes and decided that my concept is "Music controls the gravity of my emotions." After that, I looked into Pinterest and found posters as inspirations. The teacher told me to use left posters as a reference along with my concept, so I developed my ideas with it.

- Sketch
Before sketching, I had already taken the pictures for the poster, and when the teacher saw them, he advised me that the person (me) should be the main focus because the picture is artistic. Considering this advice, I wanted to express the gravity in visuals, so by framing the hair, I incorporated photos that easily evoke gravity, such as the sky and outer space, into a poster using double exposure. Original pics and the sketch in which my idea is reflected are here:

- Process
My original picture of the person includes a stripe background, so I used the quick selection tool to refine edges and output to a new layer with a layer mask to cut out the person from the background. After that, place sky pictures with a layer mask.

To match the color vibes, I adjusted the hue, saturation, and lightness of the person. I wanted to make the poster have a cooler impression, so it became a monochorotic color with a bit of blue. Each numerous value is following this:
Hue: -167%
Saturation: -73%
Lightness: -8%

Next step is adding background. The process is using solid color (background) + layer mask. At this stage, I adjusted the hue, saturation, and lightness, and after this, I picked the color to match the picture color value. The numerous value for sky oictures are here:
Hue: +5%
Saturation: +22%
Lightness: -6%

Alomost done with making double exposure, so I adjusted the opacity as a brush-up following:
- Final work only DPI
- Final poster including IVN
REFLECTIVE WRITING
My poster ideas for DPI were easier than others, but I tried to make this special by adjusting the color and making the boundary between hair and sky a gradation. The sketch idea and final work are a bit different, but I think this is good if there's improvement.
