Title: My time is mine alone

This collage represents my precious chill time during my hectic college life. Going cafe hopping, taking caffeine, and exploring town makes my life feel not only relaxing but also enriches my life. Also, I'm an introvert and tend to like chill places, so I used low pigment and lightness in this collage to match the intention for this.


Each element for the collage has a metaphor. Buses and letters represent the curiosity and thrift for knowledge of your interest or new experience, while the tart and tea (caffeine) is a metaphor for essential things not to get overwhelmed by challenges in your hectic life. I combined these elements with my favorite activities to express the collage.


To get through a hectic life, staying true to oneself by valuing the fulfillment that suits each individual's personality and interests is important. Otherwise, you'll get overwhelmed and not be able to believe the choices that have already been made.


My time is mine alone, and there is no need to be anyone else.

REFLECTION

This final assignment is enjoyable, and I could create it with my preferred vibes. 
Thinking about how to showcase with fewer photos was a bit challenging, but by including the antique-style paper and white areas in the background, I believe I could arrange them in a balanced way without making them messy. I focused and aimed to pour the tea smoothly while varying the types of movements for the pot and cup. Creating the collage and adding movement was easy, but when importing from AI to After Effects, the color adjustment layer caused the entire layer to be selected in After Effects, which was confusing. After researching online, I eventually merged the color adjustment layer with each layer in AI, allowing for object-only selection. There were minor troubles, but I hope this work conveys my intention of valuing my time.
